My visit to Durango was a good surprise, filled with beautiful scenery and interesting experiences. I loved exploring the rich culture at the cathedral and the local museums, but I couldn't experience an overnight stay at a hotel. It was a wonderful day trip, yet I felt unprepared for the colder indoor temperatures during the winter. Overall, it’s an authentic slice of Mexico, far from typical tourist traps.

I had a nice visit to Durango, a city that feels off the tourist path, which I absolutely loved. The beautiful scenery and charming local culture stood out, but I found the accommodations could have been better equipped. Make sure you come prepared with essentials, and be mindful of the unique plumbing situation regarding toilet paper.

The food was amazing and affordable, making for a good experience. However, I found certain cultural quirks—like the toilet paper disposal method—a bit challenging to adapt to.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Durango, a hidden gem with stunning scenery and rich culture. The food was incredibly delicious and affordable, which exceeded my expectations. However, I found the need to bring basic toiletries a bit inconvenient, and some aspects of local customs, like not flushing toilet paper, took some time to adjust to. 🌮🌄
